JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK (2016)

The film had excellent view and bigger sets. Action scenes was fine if not generic. Plot got better once sam gotten involved. Smulders got tougher here. Much tougher than she is Maria Hill in Marvel Universe.
Chris McQuarrie and Caleb Deschanel as the DOP of the first Jack Reacher film had better directions in term of car chase, action scenes and how to keeping intensities in any investigation scenes. Although, storywise and set designs, I like Zwick's film better. He has a much bigger sets and the plot is told in a faster pace than the first installment. Although it did lose intensity and getting formulaic like a one man hero kind of film.
Luckily, the film add more heart and conflict around Reacher with Sam (Danika Yarosh) and Mayor Turner (Cobie Smulders) and it effectively bring the film into a different direction. A better direction.
